By simplifying it into a single sentence, like "please protect me from all hurt, harm and danger" or "please grant me the courage to show up confidently as my authentic self today", you provide a clear direction for the magic to manifest.

2. Visualize Your End Result: Visualization plays a crucial role in candle magic. Envisioning the desired outcome with clarity and focus helps to align your energy and intention with the goal you seek to achieve.  When you visualize your intention, how does it make you feel?  What happens as a result of your intention coming to life?  Hold onto the feeling and allow it to make your spirit glow with bliss.

3. Focus Your Intention: Concentrating your willpower and intention on manifesting the desired result is essential. However, it is important to be specific, realistic, and most importantly, believe in the magic you are performing.  If you don't believe it's possible for you yet, find real life examples of people that are already accomplishing or have accomplished your goal.  If they can do it, why can't you?  No, really!  You've got to trust and believe that you can or no one else will.

Choosing Your Candle and Setting the Mood

Selecting the right candle is crucial for candle magic. Each color holds symbolic meaning, so it is essential to do some research to find the one that resonates with your intention. For example, red symbolizes courage and empowerment, while pink represents love and relationships. Black and white candles are universal and can be used for any purpose.  

1. White: Symbolizes purity, spirituality, cleansing, and healing. It is often used for general blessings, protection, and purification spells.

2. Red: Represents passion, courage, strength, and vitality. Red candles are commonly used in love spells, for increased energy, motivation, and to manifest desires.

Carving, Anointing, and Adding Crystals

Then, light the candle and allow it to burn, while you bask in the positive energy and enjoy the moment.  You don't have to sit and stare at your candle until it burns completely but please do not leave it unattended for extended periods (for safety reasons).
